Last updated: March 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using UCP Guard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
UCP Guard provides Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) monitoring services, including uptime monitoring, compliance validation, real-time alerting, and analytics for UCP-compliant store endpoints. The Service checks namespace configurations, service endpoints, capabilities declarations, and payment handler availability to ensure your stores remain discoverable and transactable by AI shopping agents.
3. Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding the password you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable laws or regulations; (b) monitor endpoints or stores you do not own or have authorization to monitor; (c) attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (d) transmit malware, viruses, or any destructive code; (e) harvest or collect information about other users without consent; or (f) use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of UCP Guard and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of UCP Guard.
6. Payment Terms
UCP Guard offers a free tier with limited features and paid subscription plans with additional capabilities. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). You authorize us to charge the payment method on file for all applicable fees. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you cancel a paid plan, you will retain access to paid features through the end of your current billing period.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall UCP Guard, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (c) any content obtained from the Service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by deleting your account from the Settings page in your dashboard or by contacting support.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
